These Terms are a contract between you and Tudor Prodan (sole trader) ("Ryvelo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Ryvelo app (the "Service"), you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us at tudorprodan61@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
Ryvelo is a personal-development tool for goals, habits, check-ins, journaling, and AI-generated guidance framed as a supportive "mentor." Ryvelo is not a medical, psychological, or crisis service. See section 9.
You own what you create — including anything you share with a friend, which stays yours and which you can take back at any time. That covers what you record as well as what you type: a voice note, a clip and a photo are yours in exactly the same way. Your journal entries are stored on your device (encrypted) and in your account, so they survive a lost or replaced phone. Photos are stored on your device and backed up to your account by default; you can switch that off in Settings, which deletes the copies we hold. You grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the Service for you (e.g. storing/syncing goals and check-ins, storing your photos if you asked us to, and — only when you ask — transmitting a journal entry to our AI provider for a single reflection). We don't use your content to train AI models.
Don't break the law or infringe others' rights; don't reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to breach the Service; don't resell or commercially exploit it without permission; don't misuse AI features to generate harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
If you use the social features, other people see what you put in front of them, and this section is the agreement about that. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Specifically, you must not post, send, or use as your profile:
In a group, the same rules apply and more people see the breach. A group holds up to twenty people who need not be friends with one another, so anything you send there reaches all of them. Whoever created the group, and anyone they have made an admin, may remove you from it or rename it — that is a decision of theirs, not a moderation decision of ours, and it carries no reason and no appeal. Our own enforcement, described below, is a separate thing and does come with both.
Leaving a group does not unsay what you said. Your messages stay for the people who were there. You can delete any single message you sent, which removes it for everyone.
How to report. Every profile, message and shared moment has a Report action, and every person can be blocked or muted from the same place. Blocking is immediate and mutual: a blocked person cannot see you, find you, or reach you.
What we do. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. We may remove content, remove a profile picture or bio, suspend access to the social features, or terminate an account outright. Repeated or severe breaches end in removal. Profile text and pictures, and photos at the point you share them, are also checked automatically before anyone else sees them.
Suspension from the social features does not stop you using the rest of Ryvelo — your goals, journal and training keep working — because you paid for those and they are not where the problem was.
If we get it wrong, tell us. Every decision we make about your content or your account comes with a written reason, and every one of them can be contested from inside the app — open Friends, where the reason is shown, and use "I think this was wrong". It costs nothing, it stays open for six months after the decision, and it is read by a person rather than a machine. If we agree with you the decision is reversed and any suspension is lifted; either way you are told the outcome. This is your right under Article 20 of the EU Digital Services Act, and it applies to everyone here regardless of where they live.
By using the social features you agree to these rules and to us enforcing them. If something here is urgent or involves someone's safety, email tudorprodan61@gmail.com; if someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services, who can reach them faster than we can.
AI features produce text automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Use judgment; don't rely on AI output as professional advice. You're responsible for how you act on it.
The Service — including its content library, design, branding ("Ryvelo", the V mark), and software — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Everything not expressly granted is reserved.
Ryvelo supports personal growth; it does not provide medical, mental-health, therapeutic, or crisis services, and is not a substitute for a professional. Nothing in the app is diagnosis or treatment. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data stored only on your device won't be lost.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data stored only on your device. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You may also have statutory consumer rights these Terms do not affect.
You can stop using Ryvelo and delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and disputes are handled by the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live (for EU consumers, the mandatory laws of your country of residence still apply).
